Todd R. Slack

Born to a military family, Todd Slack lived all over the United States before making his permanent home in New Orleans. Mr. Slack practices in the area of civil litigation with a concentration in the areas of catastrophic personal injury and business litigation.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor with honors from Loyola University in New Orleans. Mr. Slack was a member of the Loyola Law Review, Loyola Moot Court Staff and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. His law review article was selected to be published in the school's Journal in 1995, entitled "Pfiffner v. Correa: Determining the Necessity of Expert Testimony in a Medical Malpractice Claim," 41 Loyola Law Review 365 (1995).

Mr. Slack was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1996 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Eastern, Western and Middle Districts.

Mr. Slack is a member of the Louisiana State, American and Federal Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice. He serves as an executive on several boards, including the American Inns of Court, Thomas More Inn, Program Chairman 2000-05; President-Elect, 2005-07. Mr. Slack is also a past chair of the Medical Malpractice section of the Louisiana Association of Justice (formerly Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association). At the request of the past two Presidents of the Louisiana State Bar Association, he has served on the Louisiana State Bar Association Committee on Technology.

Mr. Slack was also nominated for service on the Technology Advisory Committee for the United State District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Mr. Slack is married to Adrienne C. Slack, who was recently named one of New Orleans CityBusiness's 2006 Women of the Year and has three beautiful children.
